Three Levels - One Mission
The Mystic Knights consists of three distinct levels, all with the same purpose. The levels differing only in function.
Like all of the various religious and military orders before us, there were those whom the Order served, those who performed duties and functions which supported the Order, and the members of the Order performing various duties and functions directly tied to the Mission and Vision of the Order.
SEEKER
The first level consists of those individuals who are actively participating in the organization for their own personal spiritual growth with no immediate aspiration to become more involved within the Order at a deeper level. These individuals are free to choose to become active at deeper levels in the future.
SUPPORT
The second level are those individuals who may or may not be involved with the lessons or the spiritual aspects of the Order but wish to actively participate in service projects and other public events. These are the critical support people. Without the participation of these individuals, many of the public outreach and public service aspects of the Order could not be accomplished. These individuals are also free to become more involved within the Order itself at some future time.
MEMBER
This level consists of active Mystic Knights who have followed all of the protocol for membership within the inner core of the Order. This includes all officers, clergy and lay knights of the Order. Those individuals seeking admission into the Mystic Knight level of the Order must submit an application for admission and be vetted before acceptance. The application process is not specifically designed to prevent anyone from becoming a member. It is designed to help the leadership of the Order better understand where you are coming from spiritually, what your goals and aspirations are, and how you best fit into the Order.
If you are joining to simply become a lay member knight, that is a very necessary and welcome status within the Order. If you choose to become involved in the leadership or clergy of the order, those options are available as positions become open.
NOTE
The Sovereign Order of Mystic Knights of St Mary Magdalene is not a fraternal organization. By direct instruction from Mary Magdalene, the highest leadership of the Order must be female. We honor, venerate and strive to embody the qualities of the Divine Feminine. Our rituals, including the knighting of new members, are performed by the High Priestesses of the Order. We acknowledge and honor the female, both mortal and divine, as the ultimate creative force in existence.
What do the Mystic Knights actually do?
As Mystic Knights, we have one primary responsibility - our own spiritual growth. The Order offers a deep level of fellowship, both physically and spiritually. We are united in unconditional love, unity, trust, and mutual support. We stand together, united, in our mission to ourselves and the world. Every member of the Order and every position within the Order serves one purpose - the accomplishment of our sacred calling and mission in this life. First to ourselves and then the world.
Throughout our lifetimes, we have seen those individuals - men and women - of vision, faith, perseverance and an undying belief in their cause change the world. Many of them became martyrs for their cause. While their lives may have been cut short, their martyrdom created movements that caused their ripples to become tidal waves for their cause.
When Mary Magdalene issued the spiritual commission for the birth of the Sovereign Order of the Mystic Knights of St Mary Magdalene, and the mission to bring the most powerful mystic teaching in existence to the masses, she created a ripple. She commissioned the awakened, enlightened and empowered of humanity to create a tidal wave for the spiritual salvation of humanity and the opportunity to create a new age of spiritual enlightenment for the world. It is not our mission to awaken the world. People awaken in their own time and in their own way. It is our mission, one soul at a time, to change lives and, ultimately, the field of human consciousness.
