The Sovereign Order of the Mystic Knights of St Mary Magdalene is a legal non-profit corporation.
As a Non-profit Corporation, it exists solely for the public good. As a legal corporation, it maintains all of the required legal structure, officers and functions of a non-profit organization. While that legal structure does exist, the Order's primary purpose is to serve as a mystic, gnostic, spiritual organization. Therefore, many of the officers of the Order serve dual roles. The Grand Master of the Order is also CEO of the corporation. The Spiritual Order structure is established in the manner of the Knights Templar, with whom the Order shares vast similarities. Many of the members of the Order have past-life memories of a Templar lifetime.
Before I begin a more detailed structure description, it must be noted that the Templar structure itself and many of the positions within the Order and the makeup of those positions exist as directives from Mary Magdalene herself. Mary Magdalene created and continues to direct this Order through a direct spiritual channel.
The Sovereign Order of the Mystic Knights of St Mary Magdalene is actually composed of two legal non-profit corporations. The second legal non-profit corporation is Temple Sophia Unity Fellowship, and it is also a legal 501C3 tax-exempt organization. Temple Sophia is a loving, safe gathering place for spiritual edification and fellowship. Temple Sophia holds regular online spiritual gatherings to bring seekers together for meditations, discussions, classes and other public activities. Temple Sophia is open to everyone and there is no formal membership. It is an open fellowship for everyone.

Order Structure
This is a brief overview of the pyramid of the Order Structure
Conclave
Per Mary Magdaline's directive, this unit within the Order's structure consists of five Presiding High Priestesses and serves as the ultimate authority within the Order. The Conclave also serves as members of the Board of Directors. At least three Presiding High Priestesses of the Conclave must be present at any official function of the Order and are personally responsible for knighting new members into the Order.
Grand Master/CEO
The Grand Master is the highest authority within the day-to-day operation of the Order. This position may be either male or female. In the past, the Order has had both male and female Grand Masters. The Grand Master is the visionary of the Order. It is the Grand Master's function to ensure that the Order forever maintains its focus on the Mission of the Order and that it remains in compliance with all spiritual and legal responsibilities of the Order.
Deputy Grand Master
The Deputy Grand Master has the same duties, responsibilities, and authority as the Grand Master. The Deputy Grand Master's function is to work closely with the Grand Master to oversee the Order and counsel with the Grand Master on all pertinent matters of the Order. The Deputy Grand Master fills in for the Grand Master when the Grand Master presence is required, but the Grand Master is unavailable. This position may also be male or female.
Grand Matron and Grand Inquisitress
These positions must be female. They stand as Assistant Executive Directors of the Order, with all rights, powers, privileges of their Office. They respectively represent the heart and mind of the Order. The Grand Matron considers matters of the Order from the heart and the Divine Feminine. The Grand Inquisitress considers matters from the mind and rational thought of the Divine Feminine.
Seneschal/President
The Seneschal is second in command to the Grand Master and is responsible for the micro prospective operation of the Order. The Seneschal is the operational authority, overseeing function of all Grand Officers of the Order, including the Marechal, the Grand Treasurer, and other corporate executive leadership.
Marechal/COO
While the Senechal works with the Grand Officers of the Order, the Marechal is the Program Director of the Order. The total effectiveness of the Order's ability to fulfill its Mission Statement rests with the Marechal's ability to effectively oversee and execute the programs which directly affect the lives of those that the Order aids. The Marechal works closely with the descending order of officers, staff and volunteers.
Grand Treasurer/CFO
The Grand Treasurer oversees all financial matters pertaining to the Order.
Grand Secretary/Executive Secretary
The Grand Secretary is responsible for managing executive schedules, organizing meetings, handling correspondence and handling various administrative tasks in support of Order executive leadership.
Grand Armarius/Reseach Director
The Order has established a research branch called the Scriptorium. It the job of the Grand Armarius to oversee and coordinate the various efforts of members involved in research, study, promulgation and preservation of all materials and items related to the Order's ongoing wisdom efforts. While the day-to-day spiritual studies do not fall under this category, there are, within the Order, those who actively pursue such research and studies directly pertinent to the Order's interest in ancient wisdom teachings and practices.
Grand Prelate/Presiding Spiritual Officer
The Grand Prelate is the presiding spiritual officer within the spiritual/esoteric aspect of the Order. The Grand Prelate oversees and directs all members of the clergy within the Order.
Grand Melissa/Community Outreach Program
Per Mary Magdalene, the community outreach program of the Order is known as the Celestial Hive and is specifically focused on endangered, underprivileged and orphaned children. The Order's focus is on locating such children, assessing their critical needs, and adapting the resources of the to assist in every way possible. The charitable effort must include not only meeting their physical, survival needs, but includes education and spiritual guidance to aid on their spiritual path. Per Mary Magdalene, the Order will not make any effort to teach, train or indoctrinate these children toward any specific religious or spiritual path, but to serve as spiritual mentors as they choose and progress along the spiritual path of their choosing. The position of Grand Melissa is under the management of a High Priestess.
Grand Preceptor/Academy
The Grand Preceptor is responsible for all matters pertaining to education within the Order. This includes all lessons, classes, discussions or other training. While the Grand Preceptor may not be responsible for the creation of any of the Academy material, he/she is responsible for scheduling, preparation, and execution of the programs.
The Train Analogy
The Grand Master/CEO's job is to determine the precise route along which the railroad track should be laid to achieve the most effective desired results.
The Senechal/President's job to review and analyze the Grand Masters blueprints and lay the track precisely as indicated.
The Merechal/COO's job is to move the train along the track that has been laid.
The Officers, staff, and volunteers are the engineers, mechanics, railyard workers, the track maintenance personnel, and everyone else critical to the train's smooth continued operation.

While all this structure seems very complicated for a mystic, gnostic spiritual order, it is both necessary and functional. The Order is both multi-dimensional and multi-faceted. The Order is a full-time effort. It requires a real burning desire on everyone's part to accomplish its Mission. Organizing time, money, resources and effort require a great deal of planning and execution. Organization makes the task easier and more effective at every level. While the Mission, at its lowest common denominator - the people we seek to serve in so many ways - appears straight forward and simple, that is the illusion of great teamwork and excellent planning and execution. And it boils down to unconditional love and being our brother and sister's keeper.
