What is an Egregore?

An egregore is a collective consciousness or a thought-form that emerges when a group of people share a common belief, intention, or focus. Thus, the egregore of a long past group came be reinvigorated and align with another egregore millennia later.  The Sovereign Order of the Mystic Knights of St Mary Magdalene have felt the connection and the energy of the original Knights Templar with us, aiding and guiding our footsteps, as our Order came into being and evolved.  When these two egregores combined, they weaved together the Templar’s historical and spiritual heritage with the Mystic Knights’ modern metaphysical practices. While the Mystic Knights claim no special privilege or access to the powerful egregores of like-minded spiritual individuals or groups, the Mystic Knights remain extremely sensitive to the energies that we can spiritually sense interacting either positively or negatively within our own energy field, and most especially the egregore of the Order. When we sense another energy, or egregore, interacting within our energy field, we feel that it is our duty to consciously ascertain whatever we can from the interaction.
